Some new updates about the upcoming “Titanfall 2” game are out and they include details regarding the single-player campaign and the “Angel City” map for multiplayer. Respawn Entertainment also released a new trailer for the game, which showcases many of the things that pilots of the gigantic war machines can do.
The first “Titanfall” game was solely a multiplayer title where players fight each other by piloting giant robots or on foot. The sequel functions both as a reboot and a follow-up to the first game, with a newly added single-player element. In the most recent trailer, the focus is on the capabilities of the pilot without his partner, Gamespresso reports.
In the video, the narrator goes over the pilot’s general abilities in a rather cinematic manner, though viewers can still catch a glimpse of what they can do with the character. There’s the grappling hook and the jetpack, of course, which players can use to maneuver the game’s landscapes as well as to board the “Titan.” The former is a new addition to the game that was well received by casual players.
The footage even showed how the pilot used a decoy to fool enemies and outflank them. Near the end, the narrator touched on the current conflict that was going on between frontier citizens and the game’s group of enemies called the IMC.
On the matter of the multiplayer mode, “Titanfall 2” features the return of “Angel City,” which is a favorite of fans of the original game, Polygon reports. It’s a free map as well, so players can just go ahead and start fighting other players once they get the game without having to shell out more money. Drew McCoy, the game’s producer wrote about the new map, saying that it was the love of the fans that made them bring back the map.
